Why study at XJTLU
The international showcase at Les Salles Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France, on April 6th and 7th, 2024 (local time), featured thousands of stunning artworks.
Gilbert Van Kerckhove, chairman of the UWEE Expert Committee and co-chair of the Art Exhibition Organizing Committee, praised the collection for representing the intellect and dedication of its young creators and their mentors. Van Kerckhove hopes that an admiration of these children’s artwork will spark meaningful conversations and promote global peace and harmony.
The UWEE Louvre International Art Exhibition is a global platform for young artists from various backgrounds to showcase their talents and dreams. The exhibition is an event that transcends geographical boundaries and allows participants to share their passion for art, regardless of nationality or cultural heritage. Through offline exhibitions and online digital art charity platforms (website link: art.uwee.org), the UWEE Louvre International Art Exhibition aims to eliminate regional differences and allow more people to participate in artistic creation.
Now in its fifth year, the exhibition continues to break down barriers and unify young artists worldwide, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the UWEE Group and numerous prestigious international partners. Over a hundred thousand young participants from eighty countries have participated in this initiative. Each participant is a contributor to creating an inclusive art and cultural environment. The success of the UWEE Louvre International Art Exhibition has been made possible through the support and partnership of various esteemed organizations, including UEAA in Italy, Tiantan Culture in China, Malaysian Chinese Education Association, Macau Youth Artistic Association, Hungarian Chinese Cultural Exchange Association, Government of Bavaria in Brazil, Banjul State Government in Gambia, Bangkok City Administration in Thailand, Belgian Children's Art Association, Armenian Artists Union, Avaline School, MCA Center in Spain, AYAR Center in Australia, Cloud Art in Canada, Art Education Alliance in China, 51 Meishu in China, and other dedicated international organizations committed to fostering cultural diversity and artistic creativity among the youth worldwide.
Encouraging children to communicate through art offers an invaluable opportunity for them to understand different cultures and perspectives. It is worth noting that these are crucial experiences for nurturing a generation that values mutual trust and inclusivity. UWEE's goal is to spark creativity, encourage cooperation between cultures, and build global friendships, hoping ultimately to achieve their motto, "ONE WORLD·ONE FUTURE."
